He never submitted a separation date (he wasn't aware he had to) so he just gave any date the day he filed for it.

I think he said 2010 because they filed taxes together for yr 2009. I'm not sure

You might want to make sure you know those answers above, as well, as her name, when did they married first, children they might have; where they lived (at least city, state): those are just some of the things you should be able to answers if you really know husband.

While the past is the past and has no influence in your current life, those are basic pieces of info to know. IO might think if those details have not been shared with spouse, what else could be under the rugs that is not told to USCIS. Remember, you don't have to convince anyone here, you have to convince the IO; a minimal level of preparation is always good.

I put that because there is no right case option for me. I realized t this a VISA JOURNEY and definitely I did not enter with a visa.

Maybe I'll just delete my account.

Thank you for your positive inputs guys . Best of luck in your journey.

Don't feel bad...lots of people here never had a visa. (Like me, I'm just a USC married to a Canadian, who also never had a visa.) And the first few posts I made here had to be moved, I found the site confusing, since I never had a visa.

About your original question, my divorce was finalized 3 weeks before we got married. Yes, 3 weeks. We haven't gone to our interview yet, so we'll see what happens when we do. Anyway, I don't think it's anything you can't explain, since you have so much other evidence. Don't panic too much. Just be prepared for the questions and make sure your husband is prepared too, knows when he actually separated and can explain why he put the other dates. Hang in there!

Luckily I know most of his past.but never cared to know when he was filling for divorce since I didn't want to sound desperate. I just wanted for him to make the decision (he said he did not want to make the same mistake twice that's why he took his time...) They where too young when they married )

Thank you for great input... I feel better now...

Yeah I find it confusing since everywhere I post people ask me what visa I came in and but bother to read my signature time line (which I already deleted)

I thought living together with a separated man was against the law that was all my concern...

Thank you so much.and yes will prepare for interview with all paperwork... :)

Against the law? Oh, no. If it was, a whole lot of us would have been tossed in jail by now. :)

I guess they just think that a divorce followed by a quick marriage is evidence the marriage isn't real. So you might have to work a little harder to show that yours is real. I think you'll be ok. Sounds like you have more evidence than I do.
