Well Yes as a matter of fact I did, and that makes me a criminal. However Oboma did not instruct our law enforcement agencies to not give citations to fat middle aged men. If he did I would say the same thing. He does not have the power to tell law enfrocement to not enforce the law and it's wrong.

lol your not a criminal.......

Your right. "The top law Enforcement official" He is not the top law maker in the county. That is the legislative branch. You answered your own question.

You can write all the laws you want, but if there is nobody willing or able to enforce them, you are SOL. Is English your second language?

Because you decided to, even though that term is politically incorrect and insensitive.

Na, it's actually the proper label.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I copied this off another site called pursuingholiness.com, I thought this was an interesting scenario to compare against the executive order today!

If my father robbed a bank, should I be allowed to keep the money?

I read these sob stories about illegal alien children whose illegal alien parents brought them to this country illegally. And I'm not without sympathy. But are we a nation of laws, or not? If my father had robbed a bank, and supplemented our family budget with the proceeds for years so that I was raised enjoying a better lifestyle than my family could have afforded on its own… if my father died and I found that box full of illegal cash, would it legally, morally be mine to keep? Should I be permitted to continue benefiting from his lawbreaking?

Interesting. They make a good case for returning all the land west of the Mississippi to the native Americans.

Or giving the Cherokees back most of Georgia and northern Florida. John Marshall decided for the Cherokees (actually two missionaries living among them) and against the state of Georgia, yet the founder of the Democratic Party, President Andrew Jackson was heard to say, "Justice Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it." So, the two missionaries ended up rotting in jail, and the sovereign Cherokee nation was disbanded, and force marched to the Indian territories, which became the state of Oklahoma in later years. Trail of tears.

Thanks to the anti-immigrant extremists who capitalized on a public growing weary from economic disarray and looking for a scapegoat.

Thugocracy.

Thanks to the anti-illegal immigrant activists who gave voice to the overwhelming public sentiment of a nation weary of Washington siding with the illegal immigrants (Democrats), or those Employers profiteering from them (Republicans) against the interests of Americans and those immigrants here legally.

Democracy

Majorities seem to support giving minors and former minors a chance. Of course majorities also support local state involvement in detaining illegals.

Ah, but Mister Fancypants was referring, at least in part, to the BushBaby plan of 2007, which would have given amnesty to some 12 million illegal immigrants. This had bipartisan support in Congress, which evaporated when it became clear how strongly the American electorate opposed it.

All the anti-illegal immigrant activist groups did was give voice to the overwhelming disapproval of the American electorate for those proposals, not the other way round.

An 'us against them' mentality appeals to some very base instincts in all of us. Some of us can use our intellect to rise above these primitive instincts!

And by assigning labels to people who disagree with your opinion, you make it clear that you're not the "rise above" type, though you'd like to think you are.

As for the majority of the American people, it's less of an "us against them" mentality and more of a "let's fix our own problems before we try fixing everyone else's" outlook.

The children of illegals are not at fault, the Parents are, they broke the U.S. Law. If we document the children then we know where the parents are, and send them back. Too simple for our government to figure out, not that they want to, they get the illegal votes. There is no country in the world where breaking Immigration laws gets rewarded. Let’s just pay taxes and do not ask what they do with our money. I immigrated the right way, and my Fiancé will also, but I come to the conclusion it does not pay, she should have just walked across the border, sooner or later she would have gotten amnesty anyhow, and I would have saved a lot of money

You do know how miniscule the chances are for any adult ever "getting amnesty" after walking across the border, right? I see this argument made often, but it seems very visceral to me. I mean please!! There's no way you would trade your life for that of an undocumented alien.
