What if they don't know anyone in their "home country"? What should they do? Who should they go to? What money should be used to send them "home"?

Most came as a family, so they leave as a family. I'm sure when they're back home the mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and cousins will be a great help with acclimatization.

I'm sure in some cases this is true. I guarantee that's not the case for all, though.

So again, the only response is to shrug it off and say "Who cares?" Got it.

Well, I am not an US citizen, and I won't be one - probably - but yes, who cares? I don't find it fair to bend the laws just because you feel sorry for someone, otherwise we would hardly punish anyone. And again, illegal children are not anyone's victims' but their parents'.

And illegal adults are responsable for their own actions.

I'm sure in some cases this is true. I guarantee that's not the case for all, though.

Most of your responses are completely lost on me, to be honest. You've got me condoning murder. :lol:

I can see why now. It was a simple analogy to show that, while innocents always get hurt in the process of applying a law, that doen't stop any normal state from enforcing it.

So at what point into a presidential term should a president stop acting as president so that his/her actions won't be misconstrued as pandering?

I have to second Harpa's question. When in an election year should the President just stop doing anything because everything he does will be pandering for votes? Is there a time limit? 6 months? A year?
