25 Reasons Why Canada Rocks

I didn't even know there was a Canadian version of the Huffington Post .... I love how ketchup chips are the #1 reason ....

t's a pretty amazing time to be a Canadian. We are the envy of dozens of nations around the world. We've dodged the economic crisis that's rattled the U.S., Europe and other parts of the world. We smell good. But there are other smaller, more palpable reasons why this country of ours is one of the best places to be. With Canada Day just around the corner we asked Huffington Post Canada editors and writers for reasons why our country is just plain awesome and came up with a list that touches on everything from ketchup chips to Ryan Gosling. We hope you enjoy it.

I'm pretty sure I've heard "I know, eh" uttered as a statement.

That's like saying "I know, right?" which I don't really consider a statement.

This list is cute. I wish that Canadians didn't always feel the need to compare themselves to the US, though. Canada's awesome all on its own.

I see this thread as a declaration of war against the rest of this site.

If the Canada region forum wishes to secede from American-VJ it will have a fight on its hands.

All credibility lost with ties to the monarchy.

It's hilarious that a country that pushed so hard to free itself from the monarchy still bows down. Hell, even the queen is still on all the money!

Yep... That would be as preposterous as America being Britain's biggest and strongest ally, after all the lives that were lost in the process of freeing itself so hard from its influence...

I normally wouldn't be caught dead reading The Huffington Post, but I thought that was pretty good. My favorite points being coffee crisp and Ryan Gosling (of course...) :hehe:
