SET!!

Just got off the phone with the call center and after the initial attempt at brushing me off and waiting to hear from them, I asked for a supervisor. Two minutes later, the same rep came back on the phone and informed me that all was okay now and that we could go ahead and schedule the K2. Then we went around in circles about available days and ended up rescheduling the K1 for two days sooner and booking the K2 for that same time.

WHEW!

Thanks again for all the help VJer's!

Yeah! Mix bureaucracy with a call center and end up with the ultimate slowdown. At first the rep last night simply read the notes on the screen back to me from my prior call. She didn't even bother checking the rest of the account. She simply wanted to get me off the phone in order to keep her calls-per-hour up. When I requested a supervisor, she said the usual spiel.. "the supervisor will just tell you the same thing I did.." and I replied that I know that but that I want to speak to one right now, please. That's when she FINALLY looked into the account to see that approval had been given 2 days prior!

But, it's done now and in less than a week my fiancee and son will have their interviews.

May your visa journey be smooth and speedy.
