Have you checked the USICS website to see if your packet has "touches" Touches means the person reviewing has some questions that either need someone else in their offices review or they need RFE. If none of these then call once you are at 160 days. Most for RP are taking 181 days start to interview.

yes last 1/06/2012 till now it doesn't change :( i am really hoping I'll have a good news next week, keeping the faith alive :)

Dont go by other people's progress. I was doing that too. I saw a couple get their NOA2 in February and then they got stuck at NVC and we ended up getting our visa before them. Good luck and keep your chin up!

Thank you :)

WAC goes to California which is usually the slowest said by some members here, but I got mine approved there last year in 4.5 months. Keep your heads up! Live life, enjoy Philippines because the moment you are here your heard starts missing home, also I suggest instead of counting the days passing waiting for the notice be productive by meticulously preparing for your consulate interview that way you can have your visa issued without further delays and hurdle.

thank you, I am working but can't help thinking about it lol, whew! i will make my self more busy :) who know it will just surprise me....

From what I have read here, "touches" usually mean none of these things, but can simply mean that your petition has physically been moved from one place to another. Most petitions never show any processing updates between acceptance and approval.

go to USCIS website, type your case/receipt #, starting with either WAC or EAC, you can chec your status there, and you can sign up so that you will see if there's movement on your case, mine was only touch once :( till now still initial review.

Ok I signed up..then my question is how would I know if they touched my paper? where will I see this?

♥♥God gave you to me. I asked Him why, He said, “Because he can fill your life like no one else can.” ♥♥I love you and I really miss you so much luv!♥♥Hope to be with you soon and have a happy family!♥♥

go to sign in to my account then go to my portfolio then click on add a case to your portfolio you have to enter your case/receipt # and you can choose between email alert or mobile alert or both :) you'll see the last updated changes it mean it is touched you'll receive an email from USCIS on the changes of your case or if it is updated.

As frustrating as it will be, I would say no. The USCIS considers normal processing time to be six months. (The normal is 5 months but because that's an average they don't do anything until 30 days after)

I really wish people would stop saying this because it's NOT TRUE. :bonk:

I see.. Mine says last updated was April 12..and I'm still waiting for my noa2..153days since noa1.. :(

I hope to get noa2 as soon as possible, our child is derivative, we did not enroll her here in Philippines because we're hoping to get in US before September, coz September is the start of school in US..

we took a risk not to enroll our child..

hope to get my noa2 soon.. :) I'm hoping this week.. :)

oh! so we should also wait for 5.7 too? last Monday was our 5th month.. so we should wait for another 3weeks?

in our noa1 says petition will expire on June 30,2012 and also in uscis website whenever we check our case there's a red ink all the way down

says the date 6-30-2012 so I guess it's the date in noa1 too.

do you have that? when is your petition expires?

it doesn't do anything to your petition, you'll start counting 4 months when you get your noa2 :) everybody can see that not only you but doesn't do anything to our cases :)
