Apply in Texas or California from AZ

Hi Everyone,

We are just starting the process of applying for the K1 visa. We live in Arizona and I think we need to apply in Texas but I was wondering if someone could confirm that as California is probably closer.

Does anyone know where residents of Arizona would send their paperwork for the K1 visa application??

All fiance petitions go to the same address in Texas:

From there it will be forwarded to Vermont or California.

Are you both living in Arizona right now? If so there may be other options rather than the K-1.

Always follow the instructions. The instructions clearly state to send it to Texas.

Texas is an intake facility. They will forward your package to California or Vermont to be reviewed.

We are both in AZ right now but are planning to head back to Australia very shortly.

Hey what everyone else said is correct- it gets sent to Texas first- then they will send it to California! I am in Arizona and my fiance and I did exactly that! : ) Good luck!
