Hey guys,

I am a Romanian citizen and I live in FL.

I need to send my father a power of attorney back in Romania, I need him to be able to represent me over there , regarding financial and properties matters.

My question is , where can I find such a document, and what is the process for it, since the document also needs the Hague Apostille ? Thank you so much for your time , a reply from you would be greatly appreciated.

This probably the not the best forum to ask, perhaps this can be moved to the regionals? Power of Attorney will vary by country and by jurisdiction. Power of Attorney can be for all matters, (blanket) or just for a specific transaction or activity (limited).

You should go the other way around. You need to obtain the text of the document from Romania since it's going to be used there. Then you're going to notary public and he will notarize your signature under the document written in Romanian ( to be safe, you might also have an English version of the same document, but I think, it's not necessary ). Next, you send the papers to the Secretary of State office requesting an apostille. You are done.

Raluca, I'm pretty sure the Romanian consulate in Miami (if there is one or the nearest one) can help you process a Romanian-language power of attorney form. I remember the consulate in Washington DC offered to do that when I thought I needed one years ago.
