I just bought 1000 shares of Bank of America stock symbol BAC at $7.47 a share.

I expect this stock will go up to between $8.50 to $9.00 by the end of July. And I expect to make between $1000-$1500 by that time, the same time I receive NOA2 and I will buy an engagement ring for my fiancee.

Why don't you buy the July $9 calls? They are going for 9 to 10 cents right now and will easily be worth 5 to 10X that amount if BAC is over $9 by July 20th (expiration).

But if BAC is not at $9 by then they will be worthless going for 1 cent.

You can take $100 and make the same $1000 profit.

They move real fast. As you can see the $8 calls are up 30% today on BAC stock only up 25 cents....Day low 30 cents with a close of 43 cents is a 43% gain in one day off the low...They can easily jump 200% in one day!!!

And back in the 90's Apple sold for $ 4.25 a share... It is almost as though the Stock Market can be unpredictable..

In April 2003 you could have got Apple stock for about $6.30 a share.

Even $30 in 2005.

I bought a staggering 20 shares in the high $90 range in 2008 but needed the money soon after and sold for a slight loss.....20 shares cost about $2000!

Stuff like this always reminds me of the famous Wall Street Journal Dart-Throwing Test, the results of which were so mixed that it is hard to definitively say that a group of experts can pick stocks any better than a bunch of monkeys throwing darts at a newspaper's financial pages.

I sold all my 1000 shares of BAC today at $7.81, a little less than what I could have sold if I woke up a little earlier before the market opens in New York.

I bought last week at $7.47 and sold today at $7.81 so I made profit of $340.

I will buy again tomorrow, I expect the price on Wednesday will be 2%-3% more than tomorrow.

BTW OP,

Make sure you put that apple tree in your Pre-NUP, if you do have one. In the event of a split-up/divorce later on, you won't get the bill to remove that tree from the property of your workplace (after she requests the court to make you remove that tree from there to your home, which will become hers afterwards).

Would be very ironic and tragic not able to eat any apple, yet to pay for the cost of the tree relocation.

The way you talk is like an *ss. Just because you don't agree with how I invest in BAC stock? If you think BAC is going down then you should short sell this stock to make money. If you don't do stock then you shouldn't be saying stuff here to put people down.

Think of this, it doesn't matter how the market is, 90% of the American economy as well as every industrialized country in the world put their money in stocks. Without stocks, there is no Wal Mart for you to buy stuff, without stock, there wouldn't be google for you to search or Amazon for you to buy stuff online.

About Moody's downgraded the BANKS, you don't have to wait for Moody to downgrade to be scared, everyone with a little knowledge of the economy knows that financial is not great to invest but it doesn't mean that investing in it makes you loose money. Look at yesterday after Moody announced the downgrade, every major bank price went up today. Moody's is not GOD to know and to have the power to do everything. Even the Federal Reserve or the entire US government doesn't have the absolute power to say weather the market will be up or down tomorrow.

Compare BAC now with back before 2008 is bad, but if you compare BAC now with BAC 2008-2009 then it is almost 200% better, and try to jump in and get out at the time when you know and feel that you have a higher percentage of making money. I am not a day trader and I am not a long term trader, I trade each stock at least once a week and no stock goes straight up or goes straight down. BAC stock is still the biggest and the most active stock in the world in terms of volume traded each day. If you think BAC stock is going down, why don't you short sell this stock now and wait til it goes down and buy back to make money????

I didn't buy the BAC stock after I sold my 1000 shares and made $340 profit. My goal is to buy BAC again when it goes below $7.80

What I just bought today is 20 shares of Google at $567.55

I expect to sell these 20 shares of Google in less than 2 weeks and I expect the price to be $585-$590.

I do not recommend anyone to buy any stocks.

But this is my goal as for now and this coming up week

Buy Google between $565-$568. Expect to go up to $580-$590 in 2 weeks.

Buy BAC between $7.75-$7.80 . Expect to sell around $8.00-$8.15 in 2 weeks for short term.

Buy Facebook between $28-$30. Expect to sell short term around $35-$38 in 2 weeks. Buy Face book for long term, more likely Facebook will be above $100 between 2-3 years. Facebook has a lot of money, they will not stay within social network, they will soon take the money to invest in other stuff such as phone's software, computers, and other technological products and services and that's when FACEBOOK will take off, however, this will be a long term at least 2 years investment.

Member hniHnitsuJ asked me to post a new thread to discuss about stocks for us to learn from each other and I feel it might be fun as well. Having something a little different then the visa and immigration to talk about about is fun and helpful sometimes. If you do feel that this topic should be deleted then please do so.

Well here it is hniHnitsuJ and the list below is what I think are nicer stocks to pick this coming up week or in 2 weeks. There are around $14 trillion USD worth of American stocks listed on American markets to trade each day, mostly in New York with more than 10 thousands major stocks to pick so it is really hard for any one of us, any agency or organization to know which stock or when to buy or sell. We just have to study each stock a little bit before we invest. However, in today's world, what's so called globalization where every country is depended and bounded with other countries through organizations like the WTO, IMF, World Bank, Asian Development Bank... Euro, G8, G20, BRICS, .... so by studying 1 company before you pick that 1 stock is not good enough. I believe in addition to studying 1 company before you buy its stock, you should also need to follow with the other markets or other countries from politics to market competitors and many other things as well.

For the week ending today til next week. I would like to pick these stocks for myself.

Short term from 2-4 weeks.

--Buy Google between $565-$568 and expect to sell $580-$590

--Buy Facebook between $28-$30 and expect to sell $35-$38

--Buy BAC between $7.75-$7.80 and expect to sell $8.0-$8.15

--Buy Silver ETF SLV between $24-$26 and sell $$28-$30. When the European currency falls against the USD, investors will go for USD so Silver will be down, but the US economy won't be growing more than 3% for at least 2 more years so in a short terms, USD is good and SLV is bad. In longer term such as 6 months to a year from now, SLV will pick up. For me, I would go for SLV when it is down to around $24 a share.

Long Terms more than 2 years

--Buy Facebook now and don't freak out if it goes down a few dollars. I believe long term, facebook will go up when they start to take their money to invest in other IT, Technology products and services.

--Buy VNM, this is the Market Vectors Vietnam ETF, the first of the Vietnamese market vector listed on NYSE. I believe VNM will growth very aggressive after 2013. Vietnamese GDP will be between 5.5%-5.8% this year, will pick up between 6%-6.5% next year and that's when VNM will have the momentum to grow.

--I am in the process of studying Rare Earth elements companies that belong to Japan and Vietnam.

Today is the 107th day since I mailed my I-129F application for my financee. Am still checking the USIC website to see if there are any updates but so far, no updates. I know that they would send me a text message through my phone if there were any updates but for some reasons, I keep on checking on the website, daily.

For stocks

I bought 20 shares of Google at $567.55 on 6/22/12, the price of Google went down yesterday so I bought another 10 shares at $559.84 on 6/25/12. The average Google price for my 30 shares is $564.98. Google price at the end of today 6/26/12 is $564.68

I went back and bought 1435 shares of BAC at $7.61 on 6/25/12

I bought 200 shares of Facebook today 6/26/12 at $33

Out of these 3 stocks on my portfolio, I am looking at Google the most and I believe I'll make profit of $300 from my 30 shares of Google by or before July 6th, I will more likely to sell Google when the price hits between $575-$580.

I expect to sell my 1435 shares of BAC by this Friday 6/29/12 if it hits between $7.80- $7.90, if it goes below $7.61 after the European Submit then I will hold on to it.

For Facebook, I will hold it in the range of $30-$34. I will sell all my 200 shares if it hits $35-$37

My goal is to sell all these 3 stocks by the end of next week according to the prices I am waiting for.
