this forum is made up of people that have gone thru immigration them self's and after that stayed around to try to help or use it as a social out let nothing wrong with that either but the fact is the older members have seen just about anything there is to see in immigration on this forum.....when you ask for help you may not like the answers that you get but they truly are giving you advise that is based on experiences

what may seem harsh to you really is good advice.......here at vj we are a bunch of people that make sort of a dysfunctional family...and like any family that is dysfunctional you have to learn to ignore what you feel is harsh and pay attention to the type of person that you feel is giving you good advise with out the harsh tone......

good luck to you and i really hope that you take the advise that has been given to you.

Folks, please critique my immigration questions very well. I woudl rather you Guys do it and make me prepared than to arrive in front of the CO looking like a blithering idiot. I certainly would have been one of those that applied without attaching any evidence and get an RFE in 5 months if it wasn't for VJ.

OP, I think you are absolutely right. There are to many people, that question other people's intent and attack them, instead of helping them. For example, adjusting in tourist visa. I've seen it soo many times on VJ. Keep your head up and stay strong. People on here aren't the people that you have to convince that your relationship is genuine, it will be the person that sits across you at the interview. Be honest, bring evidence and everything will be fine! Good luck!

Thank you.I appreciate positive answers like this.

This is the internet and nothing more than a discussion forum. People here are random strangers sitting at desks hundreds and thousands of miles from wherever you are.

You've never met any of us and likely never will. People in forums are not your family and they're not your personal friends. Nothing anyone says on any internet forum should be taken personally. If a stranger of a forum says you sleep with ferrets, it doesn't affect you, your life or what you'll have for breakfast.

Relax, take a deep breath and enjoy your life :D

:)

Dear Darnell,

Thank you, as I understand how to navigate VJ journey . I was only concerned to the comments listing VJ journey as a bad source. I really only wanted to defend VJ's honor as being a very helpful site and meant no disrepect to the OP.

B. Franklin

IMO, spending 20 minutes of reading prior posts can be useful.

In My Case - it helps me to decide whether to write something in a current topic, or no.

I don't wish to belabor the point - oh wait - yes, I DO wish to belabor the point.

Look, many of these topics 'crash and burn' on their own, where the OP does NOT understand how to navigate their own prior topics and posts. It sucks. It makes one repetitive. IMO, that sucks even more. Between the OP and MozMoz this year, it's been a nice bog, albeit small, of a quaqmire for repetitive 'stuff'. So, when yer 'not reading' as well, and wish to 'pitch in' and 'try to help' - Ye Gods..

IMO, for this OP - it's not worth it, to 'try to be helpful' and to 'give advice' on what to do, anymore. And Thats Ok !

Regardless, Give it a Rest - she's really not worth further time and energy for 'trying to help'.

Seriously.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
