Im a US citizen and would like to begin the process of applying for a GC for my mom who lives outside the US. Do I need to file any forms other than the I-130? Do i need to file the i-864? What happens after an interview is scheduled for my mother? Does my mother need to also do a medical examination and receive vaccinations?

Do I need to file any forms other than the I-130? Eventually, yes you will need to fill out several forms, but the process starts with I-130.

Do i need to file the i-864? No.

What happens after an interview is scheduled for my mother? She gets her IV (immigrant visa) and comes to US! But interview is one of the final steps. Don't worry about that now

Does my mother need to also do a medical examination and receive vaccinations? Yes and yes (if she can't provide documents to satisfy the requirements).
