At 6 months put in service request with USCIS. At 7 months contact congress. Otherwise you are considered "in process"

It could potentially slow down your approval. Just try to hang in there. I was so tempted to do it. After talking to my attorney I found out why it could have some negative results. USCIS does not want us using Congress to accelerate approvals. They only way it is of benefit is when your petition is beyond 6 months processing. Then at some point you will qualify for an expedite or they will regard the inquiry more seriously as opposed to the standard response of "within processing time." Just hope that VSC pulls itself together. They need to get through these petitions.

Hey guys, tnx!

But i thought it was actually a 5 months frame? We already did a service request by phone, got a reply within 7 days that "it's being reviewed", but i guess it's just a technical message, it's been having this status for the past 5 months..... God im getting hopeless..
