Hi there. We're in a bit of a jam. My US fiancé doesn't meet the income requirements ($42,212 for Alaska with 5 people, myself, my partner and my 3 children) doesn't have the assets needed to make up for that and we don't know of anyone who can be a joint sponsor. Is there anyone out there who can offer us some advice.... faced a similar predicament?? Feeling a little worried. Currently my children and I live comfortably on much less than they are requiring us to show and we are frustrated that we have to meet a relatively high figure.

Thank You!

How much is he under? Could he maybe get a second job until you are over here? Even 3 nights a week flipping burgers will add up.

Cast his net for potential co-sponsors wider; try second cousins in Florida, co-workers, church family...
