we got case number today

Congrats nice to see 9-7-06 cases going down in numbers!!

It seems in five or six weeks I will have the luck of an NVC number!! :)

I'll be updating the timeline later today with all the NVC case numbers happening from last night.

US Citizenship

10-19-10 Mailed N-400 packet to Texas via Priority Mail

10-22-10 Packet was delivered after being forwarded to Dallas

10-27-10 Check was finally cashed by USCIS

10-30-10 I-797C Notice of Action (NOA) Received

11-02-10 RFE Text Message, and Email Received (Must be the Biometrics)

11-08-10 Biometrics Letter Received for 11/17/2010

11-17-10 Biometrics was done with in five minutes of reaching at 8:00am

12-06-10 Testing, and Interview email status received via email from USCIS with information to expect a letter shortly with appoinment time.

1-13-11 Interview Passed with form N-652 checked [box A] with congrats you have been recommended for finally approval.

1-13-11 USCIS JAX officer said the Oath letter will come in two or three months.

2-23-11 Oath Ceremony Letter was received for March 17th for 9am in the GNV Federal Court House

3-17-11 Oath Certificate was received at the oath ceremony, and appointment made for US passport for Monday 3-21-11.

I plan to send another email on Friday as well, and see if any good news comes out of it Monday or Tuesday of next week..

I got ours today, it took 5 weeks. 9/11 to 10/17

Met Tita 2004-10-31

I-129F Sent 2006-03-22 - Tita Arrives 2007-03-14 (360 days total)

Civil Marriage 2007-03-23

Catholic Ceremony in Philippines January 2011

Applied for Citizenship May 02, 2012

Citizenship Oath Election Day November 6, 2012

Hoping to retire in Philippines 2022

I received a reply to my NVC email request to our status on 10-16-06 It stated we are in the system but didn't say when we were entered into the system. NVC email reply stated the following:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Your inquiry has been received at the NVC. The non-immigrant visa petition

you mentioned in your letter has already been entered into our computer

system and assigned the case number listed below.

You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US

Embassy/Consulate General.

I had read about some amazing cases where the petition was already at the embassy so yesterday I emailed Moscow embassy with the NVC#. I got a reply with in 12 hours!!! No they had not received it but still I was impressed to get an answer that fast.

Still waiting but I do have a number to track now :)

jjjimmy, that was fast ! My Noa2 was 9/28 and as of today I am not in the system.

Watching, waiting all over again.... it will be 3 weeks tomorrow.

I'm not in the system either I'm going to be on the five or six week waiting period... My Fifth week starts next Monday.

we received our NOA2 in the mail on Oct 16 and the NOA2 form shows the approval date of Oct 11th. Waiting to hear from NVC now with a case number. It seems I should not expect anything for about 4 to 5 weeks from what I am seeing here. Is this the normal time frame we are looking at?

Okay.

AKS, and everybody...

This was my fifth week after approval, and the NVC still says they have no record of me (only the previous petition that was never finished.) My sweetheart is pulling her hair out, and I had planned to go soon anyway. So I am off to Ukraine again, and this time I AM NOT COMING HOME WITHOUT HER.

I got an email from CSC that says they did in fact forward my case to the NVC on 10/04/2006 (only three weeks after approval! #######??!!?!) And I called the congressman's office and asked for some help again and the aide said he would get right on it.

I wish I had more information to take with me, but I dont. I will stay in touch with VJ and my close people here, but now I need to be with my girl....because SHE needs ME!

Good luck friends. Hopefully the mess at NVC will get sorted out for all of us really soon!

We just got the letter from NVC yesterday October 18 but I already called NVC before we recv their letter and talked to an operator and gave me our case number (MNL2006******). She said our case was already sent to Manila last October 12.
