It is not complete without the I-134 affidavit of support form. :) You won't get approved without it, and the 401 statement is not needed.

Hi - I have a call into the National Visa Center to confirm - but this is right from the website:

•A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions)

•Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor

•Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for 6 months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)

•Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)

Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)

•Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements

•Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)

•Payment of fees, as explained below

I'll get to the bottom of this. I'm a pitbull. I may add - I have yet to get any packets. Maybe this is the problem. And as for the 401K and bank statements - I'm going to send. There is a personal reason for this. I rather not discuss on here. :)

These are the things I would not hand off to a finance

401 statement- not needed

Bank statements - not needed

Blank out SS# on all forms

If you are above the proverty level I wouldn't send tax records if I am submitting W2's.

Some of these things will be needed when you file AOS within the state and after you have married.

There is reason Im sending the tax records along with my W2's.
