Hi everyone!

My husband's I-130 visa is undergoing administrative processing (AP). It's been in AP for over 4 months now. Since we haven't seen each other for so long and have been apart (I'm in the US and he lives in UAE) we're planning to probably take a two week vacation to a new country that neither of us have been to, but both can travel to without having to worry about applying for visit visas, etc. We both agree it'll be a good time to get away and have some time to ourselves without having to worry about this whole visa wait! :)

With that said, is it safe for him to travel while his case is still undergoing administrative processing?

Just a little extra info: his case is being processed at the Abu Dhabi embassy and I assume that our case is a little out of the ordinary now because most cases don't take this long at Abu Dhabi to complete AP (their site says 99% cases complete AP in under 6 months). He's also lived in the Middle East his entire life and is a Pakistani national. If there's any additional info needed to make it easier to answer this question, please let me know! Thanks!!

You are ok to travel, I am assuming he still has his passport and not the consulate in that case you both can travel.

Once the approval comes he can send his passport for the stamp to consulate.

No need to worry even if your approval comes while you are on vacation (assuming you are only going on vacation for couple weeks)

I have a strange question to ask. My fiancé sent the K-1 visa petition late February. Since I am still waiting for answers, I am currently working in Canada and I intend to travel to Cuba for vacation (not with my fiance but a friend).

Would this negatively affect my application? I know the united states has a firm stance against Cuba...
