Many of us who filed in the middle of January are still waiting. I got my NOA1 on January 20th with a receipt date of Jan. 17th and I'm still waiting too. We're hoping for an approval in the next few weeks.

Despite a few of the more recent adjudications..Not much is happening. For whatever reason VSC slowed down significantly in May and it has continued into June. We are all hoping to just get out of June with an NOA2 and god help us before 4th of July (which will probably slow things down again). VSC usually trended toward a significant number of adjudications in the month of June....unfortunately for us...they decided to break it this year...We'll know over the next couple of weeks just how bad it's going to be. You are not alone. Hang in there. It's been a rough ride.

On the us embassy web page for London they had a statement stating that no visas where being granted in May/ June, maybe this could part of the reason for a delay, with having a back log to catch up on. A good tip tho is once once you know the petition has been approved the case has to be delt with within four months of the approval date. From start to finish mine took approx 8 months for my visa to be granted.

That's not true. A message was posted on the London embassy website here: http://london.usembassy.gov/nonimmigrant-visas.html in the upper right corner saying "We will be offering limited visa services during July and August 2012 for all nonimmigrant visa categories."

K1 visas, while technically a "non-immigrant visa" are processed by the Immigrant Visa Unit at the embassy. When you receive the packet 3 letter, it will contain a link to this page: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html which says "Instructions for Immigrant Visa (K) Applicants" showing their distinction. In addition, all of the supplemental forms you have to send are to the Immigrant Visa Unit.

While there may be delays for the summer, it's not correct to say that no visas will be issued, so that should be of some good news.

I don't think USCIS and getting an NOA2 is affected by this though since it would require government agencies to actually work together LOL.
