Where have the VJ regulars gone? Gary and Kip haven't been on for a while now. Nagi and IR5 have been noticeably absent as has Kathryn. LuckyTxn doesn't post much anymore either. I'm probably forgetting about someone too. Gary and Kip vanished at the same time. Odd. :devil:

We (those of us who hang out in the RUBforum) think that Gary is in Ukraine; Kip is back from his absence now, with a new alias; Kathryn had some out-of-town business and was going to lack Internet access (she should be back anytime now).

Perhaps LuckyTxn is on the road, but he has usually managed to check in.

We haven't heard from Just Bob, or Brother Hesekiel, or whatever he's called himself, for a couple of months.

You can always enjoy the erudition (in many fora) of the relatively new member who abounds in knowledge on every topic imaginable and who aspires to become a moderator.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It was nice to know I was missed :) . I was in Canada for a week for my father' Memorial Service and the friend we were staying with had no internet access. I was busy enough as it was, though that even if I had had access, I wouldn't have had time to go on line. Anyway, I'm back now and scrambling to catch up with everything.

I SO love Ukraine! :dance: Going soon! Soon! Very soon! It will be very hot! I also love Global Warming. :P Especially in Ukraine and I LOVE feminists...did I ever tell you how much?

Alla will be walking with me dowmtown :yes: Checking where I am looking B-) mmmmmm Close your eyes and smell the perfume and hear the "click, click" and you know where you are. If you feel like something is missing in life...Go to Ukraine...maybe you will find it.

It is my annual "fix it up" tour! :lol: Fix al, the broken stuff in our flat and my MILs flat. But we do go out at night and walk around the city, visit friends etc. Last two weeks in July, they Alla and I come back to move Sergey to Houston! Pasha is staying in Ukraine for another 2 weeks. He is deadly with the young girls, only now they are "less young" with some of them cracking the 18 ceiling. He has them following like the pied piper, up to 8 at a crack! :lol:

Ever notice how the FEMEN chicks write their signs in English? :lol: It always flipped me out to see protestors in Ukraine with English signs. Imagine the OWS bums protesting with signs in Russian! :wacko:

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.
