Advice Needed.. 5 months no NOA2

You are simply too impatient, Be careful, you don't wanna push them too much.

I don't see another way to describe what you are doing. Regardless what the tier 2 told you. If you can wait 5 months, I think you can add another month to you wait time.

I am not trying to push anyone, as I said, we have other reasons that we can't just sit back and wait it out. We have been doing that a while and it's not just "wait another month" we still have the NVC stuff and interview after that... it's another 5-6 months still, even if we got approved today we still have a lot more to go through before things are actually done.

Again, impatient is not the word. As I said before, we were told on March 19th that we could expect an answer in 2-3 weeks.

If they never said that then maybe I wouldn't be as upset about this today, but it really hurts to be told something and more than 2 months later still not have an answer. It's not right to mess with someones emotions like that. I know it wasn't done on purpose, but if they had just said in March to wait 2 or 3 more months then I would have taken this a lot better... but when they said to me that I would hear from them in early April then yes, it becomes a problem and completely messes with our lives.

Like i said, it's more than just missing my husband, I have things going on at work right now and some health issues that I'm dealing with and it's VERY hard to do it alone, especially when we were told that we would be onto the next step by now.

Again, sorry if some of you feel we are being impatient, but that wasn't what the question was... the question was: What do we do from here?

Also thanks to all the people who were helpful and I will just keep my fingers crossed for something soon and look into contacting congressman instead of senators office in a week or two.

I know I'm not the only one in this position and there are others that are waiting outside of 5 months as well, I hope things go well for everyone and I hope things speed up soon!!
