Does anyone knows how long it takes for the IR-1/CR-1 visa to be processed and delivered once approved at the Nairobi Enbassy? My wife was approved on 6/4/12 but no information yet on the DHL waybill. She was told her visa will be ready in 1 to 2 weeks, does it takes longer than the time she was told?

I don't have a answer but I didn't know it could take that long.

I think its the high time u call the Embassy n ask about it... otherwise the way i see it in other cases, it should not have taken that long.

She was approved on Monday, June 4th, and today is only Wednesday, June 13th...it hasn't been a full two weeks yet. It's only been 7 business days. You could send the Embassy an email if you wish, but I wouldn't worry yet at all. Yes, it does take time so don't worry. I'm sure you'll receive it soon. All the best!
