Hello, we are going to be having our second interview in Casa and we are so nervous. They told my husband to only bring his passport, is this a good sign? Also, im going to bring a new photo album with new pics, but i will keep it with me at the cafe, as they only told him to bring his passport and I want to follow their rules. Does anyone know of some questions they ask at the second interview?

thanks, sweetcitywife

If I were you I will still go with all the evidence of an on going relationship. I recently read about a couple that had a 2nd interview at the same embassy and were told the same thing but they still denied the visa. It may be a good sign that they asked him to come only with the passport but dont take any chances since it wont hurt by you going over there with the docs. All the best.

He should bring his passport and evidence. It's in one of the other threads right now.. I think the denied after the second interview, where that woman says her SO was also told to just bring the passport which did not turn out to be the best.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

MENA = Middle East and North Africa. It's one of the forums under the "Regional Discussion" heading, found in the "General Discussion Area."

Thanks everyone for your help. I am going to send my husband with the photo album. I will also make a book of documents that we sent before and some new ones, so maybe that would help? But should i send him with both books or just the album? Im so scared for my husband and the questions. Please pray for us. Just so you know I have been living with my husband since jan 2011 and I teach at a school in Casablanca fulltime, and we are trying to have a baby and I have copies of the doctor visits to my fertility doctor and the medicines and procedures we are doing. All of this helped us get reaffirmed, but my husband answering the way they want is the scary part.

thanks

Have you sent evidence of this already for your file? I would DEFINITELY include evidence for his apartment/home with your name listed on the lease or mortgage if at all possible. In addition if you have evidence for life insurance/banking info (normal marriage documents showing bonafides). It seems to me they put alot of emphasis on these things in high fraud countries. I'm gathering lots of evidence since our last visit and I will expect my husband to carry these things to his interview. Even if they don't ask for it... you have a right to show your evidence and in my opinion, they should gracious enough to accept it. If I go to the interview with my husband, I'll politely ask for them to accept additional evidence for my file and I will explain to them what it is I'm giving them as I hand it to them. I haven't yet been through the interview process though so I'm sure others can offer more advice for Morocco in particular. Best of luck to you!! (F)

The lady with a similar case where they asked him to just bring his passport, her post is on Page 5 of the Moroccan portal the profile name is Amarcho1. Your case is a little different in that you married in Ohio and have gone through a different approach to getting approved. I think it is good that they are asking him to only bring his passport but be prepared and take supporting documents.

Good luck,

Well it could hurt your hand or your arm if you're standing there waiting a long time with heavy documents.
