Our petition for CR-1 was approved on April 23rd and NVC still did not even receive it (not even talking about getting our case number). So today is June 12th and on June 23rd it would be 2 MONTHS since the approval. Me and my husband are very very very frustrated and don't know what to do. 2 weeks ago NVC research sent us an email saying that they contacted CSC and ppl there said that our case is EN ROUTE to NVC, but it was 2 weeks ago. We call every day and it still hasn't reached NVC.

If someone is in the same situation, waiting over 1,5 month for NVC to get your case PlEASE let me know that I am not the only one who is waiting that long. I am just so upset about it and totally helpless. I call, send thousands of emails to NVC and we already contacted our congressman who could only tell us it was still in CSC (well, that was about 3 weeks ago). So me and my husband have done EVERYTHING we could! People who were approved on the same date got their case numbers weeks ago.

Waiting for replies and maybe someone knows what is going on.

Yeah, I got that message about 2 weeks ago...still didn't reach NVC! What kind of mail takes 2 weeks???? At least you know this now...it's still good news.

nvc contacted me this morning , uscis told them my petition will be enroute to the nvc whooooooo!

2 weeks is nothing...you need to wait 15 business days and then start calling NVC to see if they have your petition.

Got my NOA2 2 weeks ago.. Should I be calling USCIS and ask if they've been holding onto my petition..?

Hey thanks it seems like whats happening is USCIS is just holding on to our approved petitions even though in the notice of action they state the petitions have already been sent to the NVC.

Most likely our petitions will be sent together to the NVC due to the proximity of the our approval dates

I don't see the last touch date? Where is it? Mine just says Expiration date 6-30-2012

When you log into "check my case status" at the bottom it'll say "last update" and a date. Every time someone at CIS scans or handles your petition, that date updates. You then know someone at CIS "touched" you petition.

A touch could mean anything from someone working on it, someone simply taking it out of one box and into another box, or someone actually putting it in an envelope and mailing it. Basically, on that date someone at USCIS was in physical contact with your case.

My last touch date was May 30th, the day after my NOA2 date. I know someone at CSC was actually in contact with my case on that day. But I have no idea what they actually did with my case on that day. Hopefully, it was scanned and put into an envelope with a Portsmouth, NH address on it.

Unfortunately, mine doesn't say that!
