Hmm Only in America!

IF I were running it, I would suggest disallowing either party involved to receive benefits since this was a seemingly willful misuse of the documents.

Meaning that should someone loose a SS card and it is used THAT would be considered NON-willful misuse of the documents...considering the relationship between the 2 parties it would be difficult to not assume that brother 1 allowed brother 2 to use his SSN for employment purposes.

Wow... so the whole part where he submitted falsified federal documents part means nothing..??

As far as SSA is concerned not their problem. Now how immigration handles it if they get wind of it I have no idea.

Not an immigration issue. That's an issue for the Federal District Court, not immigration court. Which isn't a real court anyway.

The letter is very funny on the surface, but what's really going on is not. If you do things illegally it seems you get over so much more. All the benefits go to the liars, thieves & cheaters. I really hate it! Folks like us who try to go about things the right way suffer through endless waiting, paperwork and demands. Its unfair. I know this government will never be able to support its citizens in a just manner, NEVER.

That must also explain why there are hundreds of waivers filed DAILY in Ciudad Juarez alone. Why bother going through all that if they had such a great life here as illegals? Why not just stay illegals? Hmmm, makes you wonder...

You mean to tell me we went through all that ###### for nothing. Man, I missed out on six months with my husband when we could have just had it made with him being illegal forever. What was I thinking? Oh yeah, I was thinking it sucks being here illegally and you get no rewards for it what so ever. That's what I was thinking. It's such a reward to have to worry about your husband being carted off on his way to or from work. Yeah, fun times!

You want to know what's even better? When it actually happens! When he's sleeping in bed. Waking to big old guns pointed at his head. Man, those were the days!!!!!!

Yeah, like I said, fun times! But, you know, those are small prices to pay for the three day walk across the desert when they run out of water and almost die. Thank goodness Javier found some water that day and had the guts to keep pressing forward. Or else I guess he'd be another number to add to the long list of the one's who die on their way over. But hey, it's all worth it once you get here. All these lovely rewards you get. None of which he benefitted from, but whatever.

You mean like when they're sick and refuse to go to the doctor for fear of getting caught, when you have to drive them everywhere because they refuse to drive without a license, when you freak out every time a cop walks into the restaurant, when they're due a tax refund but they refuse to file it for fear of getting caught, when you feel the only safe way of existence is to keep them sitting at home 24/7...that is the LIFE.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Ignorance at its finest. You can always tell the people who really know nothing about life as an illegal-they're the ones who always glamorize it and say really retarded stuff like this.

Yep, we had it made. And to think we threw all that away. Man, if only we could go back again and redo everything. I would spare myself the anguish of having him gone for the time he was. I wouldn't have gotten sick and lost so much weight. I wouldn't have gone into debt and had to turn to my parents to pay my bills. I wouldn't still be paying off my credit cards that were maxed out while he was gone. I may have kids by now because I wouldn't have had to put that off for 6 months. Those were the days.

All this playful banter between you guys (waiver chicks) does not really make anyone who hasn't gone through that feel sympathy (which is why your both being sarcastically funny about it). You guys dealt with it so you know 1st hand the hardships, however hardships do not excuse illegal activity!! its laughable to think it does!

Just understand trying to educating others by pointing out hardships of illegals really does nothing for you or the plight of the downtrodden illegals. No one will feel bad for them in this way.
