When my dad petitioned me on year 1991 and got an interview on 1992. My dad came home and showed up to our interview, the embassy find out that my dad has a fake marriage certificate coming from NSO which is never been a valid marriage from my mom. Interview only last 3 minutes and consul ask why my dad married my mom, my dad answered because she lover her, the consul ask 3 times and even throw the pen and the consul got angry after that consul gave a letter and got an RFE and got a 2nd interview date set up. The consul is in doubt that we are his son because of the age of my father which is he is around at 69 at that time and i was only 12 yrs old. The consul give a letter to have dna/paternity test for me and my dad andto show as well proof of picture me and my dad when i was a baby. After all the process. We went back for our 2nd interview and the same consul who interview us on the 1st time, the consul opened a sealed letter about the result of the dna/paternity test and it was positive result and the consul ask for the picture when i was still a baby the consul was satisfied and he approved my visa way back 1991 but now i'm already an adult and i'm petitioning my wife and kid as well. I figured out that the consul only ask why my dad married my mom cause the consul is trying to have my dad say that their marriage is not valid. For everyone taking the interview always tell the truth. My dad pass away Sept 11 2001 in Philippines and glad that he petitioned me. Good luck to you
