Freaking out 60 days and NVC has not received petition

Hello everyone ,

My I-130 petition was approved within the 5 months time frame and the notice date on my approval date is 4/16/2012

so now closing on 60 days , no one is giving me answers as to why NVC has not received my petition

What are my options and is this a normal occurrence, whats the chance USCIS lost my petition?

No, its NOT NORMAL. by this time, you are supposed to be almost done with NVC if things went smoothly....

NVC should receive your case within 2 weeks and due to backlogg these days it might take upto month to get CASE number.

NVC might have universal EXCUSE saying they never received your CASE so follow up with USCIS. Put the SERVICE REQUEST at USCIS about the STATUS of your Approved Petition. Speak with TIER 2 and check the link below

USCIS might not officialy inform you that they messed up your case, but when they track your case, things will start moving way faster than NORMAL procedure....

When they get back to you with your case status, try to request EXPEDITE your case under USCIS Error....nothing wrong to give a try( definitely 60 days waiting time period to just get your case to NVC from USCIS is UNUSUAL) ...but USCIS will make final decision whether you are eligible for it or not....

nvc contacted me this morning , uscis told them my petition will be enroute to the nvc whooooooo
