Hello everyone,

First of all I wanted to say to Kelly to hang in there and my heart goes out to you! Also, congrats for all the people who have gotten approvals!

Here's a funny story for you:

I was sitting at home on Thursday night writing a letter to Marlon explaining a game plan for us. I.E. why spend money that I don't have on a trip to Jamaica in December when we can just start our filing process for the K1 visa now. Plus I am close to my last semester at ASU and I really need to buckle down etc. Well, mind you I had not sent this letter yet but on the morning of Friday the 13th, I get a surprise phone call from Marlon (you know how expensive they are!) and he says to me the same exact idea I had about filing now for our K1 visa! I was floored but then again, we must have a connection right? lol Later that day I received an email from my academic advisor stating that I have permission from the department chair of the History department to take my last 2 classes in the same semester so I can graduate in May! YAY!!! I am so sick of school! lol So, I sent the first paperwork to Marlon so I can get his information and we are hoping to file in November or December. He may not be here in May for my graduation but if all goes well, he will be with me next year and that is what is important! So I wanted to share this glorious information and I thought what better place then with people who are or were in the same boat as I? Please keep your fingers crossed for us and if I am a pain in asking stupid questions in the future, please bear with me! lol

Attached is a little picture slide show that I made with one of my favorite songs from my trip to Jamaica in September. It was also our first meeting in person.
