KKK wants to ‘adopt’ highway in Georgia

They tried this in Missouri. They let it go about 1 month and when no one actually came to clean the highway they revoked it and then named the interstate Rosa Parks Memorial Highway

Actually yes they have. But they have never been involved in terrorist activities as the KKK has. And by the way, KKK aren't only anti-black, they were also anti-Jewish and anything else they don't consider "pure" white. The irony is...none of them are PURE white if they were to check their lineage.

IMHO let them do it. Many other churches in The South are very active in their communities and the only difference between them and the Klan, is that the latter does not misrepresent themselves in their beliefs.

In news out of Georgia, the state's Department of Transportation has declined to accept a Ku Klux Klan group's application to join the state's "Adopt-A-Highway" program. The International Keystone Knights of the KKK in Union County applied last month to adopt part of Route 515 in the Appalachian Mountains. In a statement Tuesday, the agency says "promoting an organization with a history of inciting civil disturbance and social unrest would present a grave concern" and could "have the potential to negatively impact the quality of life" of people in the county and state.

What do you make of this? Do you think DOT's decision to deny the group's application was a good call or do you think it was unfair?
