Should we have got text/NOA1 yet? Bit worried!

Hi,

So we mailed our I - 129F petition last Monday (June 4th) it got delivered at like 2pm Wednesday 6th. No check been cashed or any notifications yet - is this normal? Any info appreciated guys!

June 4th 2012 Mailed I-129F from Salt Lake City, UT to Dallas, TX

June 6th 2012 Received in Dallas

June 11th 2012 Text/E-mail of NOA1

June 14th 2012 Received hardcopy of NOA1

August 16th 2012 Received text/e-mail of NOA2

August 27th 2012 NVC received petition

Sep 3rd 2012 Received Packet 3 from London Embassy

Yes this is normal, wait about 2 weeks for them to cash the check.

Yes it is normal. Some NOA-1s can take 60 days. I hope this is not the case but waiting 3 business days since it was received...I'd be surprised if you did get your NOA

Hi, We received our NOA1 for 129F 6 days after they received it. You should be getting it soon. About your check, I paid for our AOS with a personal check and it didn't show as a check in my bank account it showed as an electronic payment. You did send $340, correct?

They might cash it this week, if you wrote a personal check you will be able to see it debit your account on your bank statement. If it only got there on Wednesday afternoon then give it a few more days before expecting anything. If they haven't cashed it in two weeks then I would start to be concerned. The NOA1 will take a couple of weeks to get to you.

If you sent your package with a delivery confirmation then don't worry about it, they will have got it. :) You could check your bank tomorrow and see if you see anything but that might be a bit too early, hopefully it won't take too long though. The NOA1 is a receipt to say they have your petition, unfortunately they won't check to see if you have included all of the required documents. It's all very nerve wracking but if you forgot anything all you have to do is send it in when they ask for it, try not to worry too much!
