1. If recieving VA disability, what does one put on line 22 on the I-864 AOS?

2. What should the letter state why one did not file an ITR last year due to recieving disability?

3. Are bank statements ok to proove disbility income?

Thanks

You must file the tax first, and request transcript from the IRS. A copy of your disability statement for the year should be included as well.

If disability is your only source of income, then you would still have to send the tax returns.

Bank statements is not a proof, but won't hurt to be sent in.

I'll however advise you to call IRS and get your returns ratified first.

Unemployed unless you have reached the age of 66 then you can claim retirement.

If recieving disability, do you mark unemployed and write in "disability" next to it on Line 22 on the I-864?

No, just the date of when you started to become unemployed, the reason is not relevant.

In line 23, you can state your annual income. Further in the form, you will have to list all your federal income tax to establish income figures.
