Ok everyone else probably already knows this, but I want to know if I can send the application in for the K-1 visa or if I have to apply in person? I live in Tennessee so I am supposed to file in Texas. But if I can send it I can apply this week.

If you have all the required documents prepared then you send it with your fee to the Texas Service center (TSC). I suggest USPS and request delivery verification. Also, pay your fee with a personal check. Sometimes the NOA1 (receipt with your case number) takes a while to come back to you but if you are able to get an image of your cancelled check from your bank after it clears your case number will be on the reverse side. The number will start with WACXXXXXXXX for TSC.

YMMV

WAC is the Western Ap Center...ie CSC...Laguna Nigel CA where the Texas Center rountinely sends K-1's for adjudication.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
