I-129F WAITING GAME

Patience... Did you call them? Either way, I called at the 5 month and was told to wait another 2 weeks. This was Thursday. The following Monday morning, I had my NOA2. Everything depends on how backed up they are. Remember, there are folks out there waiting longer than you for an answer. When you read their timelines, I think you can relax, because they are in worst shape than you. Once you get your NOA2, is all downhill from there. Recommend you send an email to NVC once you get your NOA2 and request to be informed when the Bogota Case Number is assigned. Next you will get the email from the embassy saying they have your package. When you do get the Bogota case number, you can go online and schedule your appointment, pay VISA fee, setup VISA package delivery option, schedule your doctor appointment, schedule your airline, reserve your room, then start the waiting game again. That's how it goes.... That's how it is.... They are not going to loose your package. Use this waiting time to organize what you need for the interview. Good Luck... and Patience.... lots of patience....

I know it is not that easy to wait but then you have to be patience and have faith in GOD he will take care the rest.. I was in the same boat before i almost lost patience but then i realize its better to find something to make myself busy while waiting for the approval. Don't focus on NOA2 just make yourself busy and enjoy your day everyday while waiting...

Good-luck.... and God bless you..

I don't actually think it's in GOD's hands... more like USCIS' hands but yes, patience is what we all need at this stage!

It is a hard and long process that has or will drive everyone on this journey crazy before it is finished. All any of us can do is wait and then wait a bit more  but all that time remembering that the second part of this trip is the faster one.

Good luck in hearing soon

well i called today and they said that they are still processing JAN 1 petitions...how not to get disappointed im not sure.

Sorry for the disappointing results of the phone call. At least we know here that they are NOT strictly processing January 1st petitions. Typical scripted response. You need to reach tier 2 CSR and beyond to receive a more accurate information.

I do not believe USCIS has any processing patterns ,priority’s or operating system. I think a supervisor goes to the big box for the year, reaches in and takes some applications out of the middle of the stack. If you look at Igor’s list, there are February filers already approved, Visa Journey has the best estimate, 5 Months, just like USCIS

JUST GOT APPROVED TODAY !

Awesome!!! Congrats. Happy to hear it. I'm starting to get pretty excited now. I do believe the flood gates finally might be opening. It was definitely time. They had no way of maintaining the 5 months processing time with the rate things were going before.

haha. yes. It's obvious that the CSR had no valid information on what was currently being processed. Luckily, it's all behind you now. I'm sure it's an amazing feeling. Can't wait to experience it myself. Anyone who survives this process has amazing patience. Everyone here should be commended for it.
