Hello VJ, a blessed Sunday to all!!!

I have a Question.

I have files my AOS, I-765 and I-131 on March 12, 2012 and I received a notice of Action March 14,2012 my case was transfered to California Service Center April 9th of 2012.

I am wondering why I did not have my Biometrics appointment until now since it had been 3 months since i got my receipt, my I-131 had been approved on May 7th. I had called

the USCIS Service center and they had given me another 15 days of waiting. My question is, can I do a Biometrics walk-in even if I did not have an appointment yet or do I

have to wait for the appointment letter to arrive?

You cannot do walk-in biometrics without the appointment letter. Wait for their response, your local office may be very busy at the moment. I waited 98 days for my biometrics appointment during ROC, I had less than 7 days notice of the appointment, it isn't normal but it can happen sometimes.
