hi everyone

me and my fiance just recently got married in west virginia with our k-1 visa. We filed for my EAD/AOS a few days ago and have tracked it to see that it successfully was received at the chicago lockbox. I was just wondering, where will our case go to next to be processed? im just curious, I Would like to check on the USCIS website to see processing times for EAD if I knew where it was going to be processed..

Most are tracking at the moment to take approx. 60 days to receive approval provided you receive no Requests for Evidence (RFE). USCIS has a maximum of 90 days to approve an EAD; after which time if you still haven't received it, you can make an InfoPass appointment and they'll expedite your approval.

Also if everything goes as planned, it will be forwarded to your local office e for final interview/processing . How long that takes depends on how busy your local office is. But many people are getting interview notices around 50 to 60 days on average with some even earlier than that! Lucky lucky people!

The majority of K1 AOS applicants usually skip the interview phase and their cases go straight the CSC for final adjudicating.
