Walk-In Biometrics in Sacramento

Hi

I hope I am asking this in the right part of the forum. If not I apologize.

I have seen many different experiences posted about the Sacramento ASC (where I will have my appt) - Some people have flat out said that this ASC does NOT do early / walk-in Biometrics. Others have said they had done early biometrics at this ASC successfully.

Anyone here have first hand experience the Sacramento ASC & walk-ins?

Next questions:

If I am refused at the Sacramento ASC, can I drive to San Francisco and try there?

Will getting my biometrics done in a different city than where I reside complicate things?

Thanks!

Hey KittyCarryal, I have my biometrics scheduled in West Sacramento too, but I don't plan to do a walk-in. I would not go to SF... your case needs to be process in Sacramento, not SF. I don't know if you can do it but I would say that's messing too much with the process. :P

I haven't even received my appointment yet, but looking at others' timelines I see that mine is highly likely to land during a window of time that I am on a trip across the country.

Here's hoping it won't, and I won't have to try a walk-in...

If anyone has recent experience with walk-ins at the Sacramento ASC please share!

Thanks!

Your NOA date is 5 days after mine, and my appointment is July 2nd so I would say yours will be shortly after, Is that when you'll be gone? I would say best answer you can have is by just going there after you receive your appt letter, and try, saying your scheduled date doesn't work... If it doesn't work, ask if you can do it in SF?

I plan to go there next Tuesday, just to locate where is it (Google street didn't help much).

BTW, on the letter, there's an option to indicate the scheduled date doesn't work out for you and to ask to have another date. :)
