Not a problem. As an person ignoring his deportation he will soon be lead to the plane in chains and get everyone attention again. I hope someone used the tool to report the income he is getting and not reporting from the paypal site. Another "bending" of the laws this person thinks he is entitled to.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

 Just having fun spewing incoherent nonsense and bitterness?

The site is not John's, Einstein.

However, the lawyers for his company felt released from any such obligation to finish that paperwork since his father was no longer employed by the company.

I am assuming that you do know something more than has been posted. If he was no longer employed by the Company he was no longer eligible for sponsorship.

He didn't get a student visa due to his lawyers missing a deadline.

There are no deadlines for Student Visa's

His mother and sister are here legally and they work on campus as is permitted by their visa types. They have every right to be here and they are doing so legally and have done so every step of the process. They will not be leaving if John is deported.

They will be leaving when there Student Visa's are up, they have been here 4 years so presumably soon?

Also, I would like to say that if you do not support the petition that is fine. No one is here to make you sign anything. Please just disregard it if it displeases you.

If you ask for people's support it might help if you are not economical with the truth.

That means you may stay as long as you are a full time student, even if the F-1 visa in your passport expires while you are in the United States.

They will not be leaving. Not to mention that his brother is a US Citizen and one of his sisters is a legal permanent resident working towards citizenship.

I am unsure of whether you're telling the truth about the deadline. It's my understanding a deadline was missed somewhere- it may not have been for the visa itself but rather it was not processed in time for him not to lose his legal status.

I am not being economical with the truth. I am posting my full extent of knowledge about the situation. I am also not a lawyer or specialized in immigration in any sense.

I bet you are the type of person who believes everything you see from a fiction movie, don't you? Dude, the Time Machine on Back To The Future is not real! Its not real, you cannot travel through time!

Of course they will, are they going to be Students until they die?

Not to mention that his brother is a US Citizen and one of his sisters is a legal permanent resident working towards citizenship.

Citizens can petition for Parents at age 21, and siblings. Siblings for PI the wait is 20 ish years.

I have no reason to lie, or mislead. If you are saying he was out of status and incurred a ban, well that is a possibility. Certainly not something that has been mentioned before. If he overstayed longer than 6 months after the age 18 he would have a 3 year ban, but that would have been self inflicted.

I am not being economical with the truth. I am posting my full extent of knowledge about the situation. I am also not a lawyer or specialized in immigration in any sense.

Sorry I should have made it clear that I was not pointing that finger at anybody on this thread, I have a feeling they have been accidentally or deliberately not given the full facts.

Honestly after all the insulting and incredibly opinionated "facts" I read on the first page alone I had little interest in seeing what other demeaning remarks I could run into.

The rest of John's family are now all legal residents or citizens. They are not in any risk of being deported nor are they breaking any laws. So let's put those assumptions to rest.

All these actions were not just to delay his "eventual deportation" but to fight and rectify John's legal status.

Please refrain from referring to any of them as criminals and placing you opinionated ideas of "justice" on them. The death of John's father caused greater injury to his family then most family deaths do to any common family. I realize to many of you they are just strangers and it means nothing to you, but this case affects several lives and I hope you keep that in mind before making quick judgments.

If you're even remotely involved with John's cause, it would behoove you to use proper grammar. Words are important, even in an informal forum such as this. Not being careful to use the right words, you risk losing people through miscommunication or, even worse, alienation.

Please elaborate on why you believe the bolded statement you made above. As a fellow Filipino-American (natural born), I know that there are different "classes" of Filipinos here in the U.S., and that some of them have a feeling of entitlement. But to come on here and make that kind of statement is truly insensitive, not to mention stupid. It's insensitive because a death in the family causes injury to every family. It's stupid because you're doing it while trying to appeal to people via sympathy.

I'm insulted that someone would actually try to portray John as a proponent of the Filipino-American. I have no doubt he may be active in a Filipino-American community youth program, but to align him with Filipinos only when it's convenient is disingenuous. A quick visit to his FB page, which arguably provides the best representation of one's persona today, shows that he has no interest in being Filipino whatsoever. If for no other reason than that, I think he should be allowed to stay.

He just needs to be a man already and fly from the nest. I'm sure that his sister and all the supporters will be there to help the family. Besides, living in the Philippines isn't that bad for an educated person. Many foreigners go there to work. Many more choose to stay, and don't care to leave because they have good jobs in International Companies like the one his father worked for. Not to mention there are many people who share the same interest in anime, photography, cosplay, etc. From what I've seen, they have some very good animators in the Philippines.

Based on the picture that was posted, my guess would be that a relationship factors into all of this. If so, the most obvious solution would be for him to marry a "USC", ala VJ members. That is, unless he's banned as a result of what is happenning now. If he isn't and is allowed to stay (one way or another), I sincerly hope he dedicates his life to a cause for the many other Filipinos who had "aged out" and were never allowed to come here to be with their family. I'm sure they miss their family just as much as John would...

The plan is that they will get their citizenship through one of those routes since they have been able to maintain legal status. They are a few years off from finishing their studies. Not to mention one of his sisters is a legal permanent resident and her husband and his family are here. She is very unlikely to be leaving. His younger brother is a citizen and has no reason to leave unless John is deported.

What a well typed out response! One question, have you ever been to the philippines? Do you think a 24 year old kid that just graduated college that grew up in American Culture is going to be able to step off the plane and go to work for a big international company as an animator? Are you familiar with how many people live in the philippines and the job ratio for them? You make it sound Wonderfull! Like a Fairy Tale!

That makes no sense for the Sister, I guess the Mother might be able to drag it out. When did the Sister become a PR?

I would expect the Brother would go with the Mother wherever that might be at that age.

I assumed that they have legal advice, do they?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I am talking about the Sister on a Student visa, she could get a visa through work as their father did, through family, well it takes decades and I doubt she could string out her studies that long and pay for the tuition, following her sister's route would be the obvious one, as it would for John.
