Israel Offers 1000 Euros and a Plane Ticket to every Illegal African as incentive to self-deport before they destroy Israel's Jewish Character

You're only shaming yourself with the slew of misinformation.

"Admitted to the country legally by Israel border police" couldn't be further from the truth.

It's like arguing that undocumented Mexicans are "admitted to the country legally" when they are caught by the authorities. No, they are not admitted legally. They have no legal status. They cannot adjust their status legally because they have no legal status to begin with.

Illegal migrants cannot legally own any business in Israel. Arguing that what they have is a "business" is like arguing that a crack dealer has a business, or a contract killer is a "businessman". When they have are illegal criminal activities, not "businesses".

No it's not the same at all, and you know it. The African migrants (most of them) in Israel were admitted with a permit and placed by the authorities on a bus to Tel Aviv or other points inside Israel, and released to fend for themselves.

The government of Israel never had a specific policy to deal with them, and bears the responsibility of creating the crisis by essentially dumping a bunch of indigent, homeless refugees on the street to live in a public park.

Well that's true, Israel never really had to deal with refugees before (other than Jewish refugees from Muslim countries.)

The government of Israel is in uncharted waters here. I for one am curious to see how they are going to resolve this issue.

Israel has long experience in shirking its responsibilities toward refugees, including the ones it created.

If you are referring to the Palestinians living in so-called "refugee camps" today, they are no longer refugees by any normal definition.

You are not a refugee if you still live in the same place where you and your parents were born. And you can't call it a "camp" if it has buildings, stores, restaurants, and schools complete with bomb-making classes.

When will you learn that your hasbara is an empty rattling shell ?

UNHCR Handbook:

“184. If the head of a family meets the criteria of the definition, his dependants are normally granted refugee status according to the principle of family unity.”

http://www.hrea.org/learn/tutorials/refugees/Handbook/hbpart1.htm

All refugee communities, whether those under the care of UNRWA or UNHCR, have their refugee status passed through the generations while their plight remains unresolved. Refugees in Kenya administered by UNHCR are a good example.

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4082176,00.html

Or see the reports on the camps in Thailand here:

http://articles.cnn.com/1997-01-20/world/9701_20_thailand_1_refugee-camp-laos-resettlement?_s=PM:WORLD

http://www.wehelpwarvictims.org/2009/02/refugees-in-thailand-face-forced-repatriation/

If you are living in a refugee camp and have no state, you're a refugee. If you're the head of a family, then refugee status can be applied to your dependants which can be your descendants, your spouse and even your aged parents.

If you were granted refugee status as a dependant and you become head of your family and are still a refugee and still stateless, then wash, rinse, repeat.

It continues over generations because Israel refuses to settle the matter in accordance with international law.

LOL

Their "plight" is in their hands. The sooner they realize that they are not "victims", but ultimately masters of their own fate, the sooner they can start to move forward.

They can do something productive and useful with their lives today, or wait another 100 years for the UN-XYZ to "resolve their plight".

Militancy, victimhood and a lack of personal responsibility are things that need to be countered.

Zio-mythology is powerful stuff. “Why oh why can’t those unreasonable Palestinians do something useful and just fade away into the sunset - just forget about what Israel stole from them - just stop demanding their pesky rights - just go away so we can steal the rest of their land without all this stress ?”

Well, it's to be expected - the diseased mind of the sociopath and abuser always has contempt for their victims.

Not all Palestinian refugees live in camps. Where do you get the rather bigoted idea that refugees don't do anything useful with their lives ?? Many are educated, even hold jobs (astonishment!)

But it's irrelevant to the issue of their rights. You don’t want to face this fact, but wherever they are, and whatever they do with their lives, Palestinian refugees are legally entitled to a just and lasting solution to their plight. That plight is: they were expelled and denationalized by Israel because they are not Jews. All they want is their rights, which is to return to their homes and property, or at the very least, receive just compensation for what Israel stole from them.

Israel thinks that if it stalls long enough, the Palestinians will somehow disappear, or forget about their rights. This is of course not only exceedingly stupid, but damages Israel‘s own interests; however it’s typical of Zionist delusion.

Militancy, victimhood and a lack of personal responsibility are things that need to be countered.

Yep, that's Israel to a T (although you forgot narcissism and insecurity) and yep, that‘s exactly the problem.

Universal "their" implies all Israelis think as one on this issue? Pretty sure that is a simplistic assertion if indeed that is the one you're making.

Absolutely. Assuming that all israelis think as one on this issue would be on a par as assuming that all Palestinians share the views and condone the actions of a few who wish to destabilize even more a volatile situation in the region.

I think that where we fall short is when we try to understand the actions of the Israeli government under a western point of view.

????????

More than a third of the world's Palestinian refugees were driven into the West Bank and Gaza - many still live within eyesight of their stolen homes and property inside what is now Israel.

2010 numbers of UNRWA registered Palestine refugees were:

Gaza Strip 1,106,195

West Bank 778,993

http://www.unrwa.org/etemplate.php?id=253

Many of the displaced Palestinians who managed to remain in Israel (and today have citizenship or legal residency) are still not permitted to return to their own homes and property, nor were they compensated. Israel simply declared them all "present absentees;" then, via its Jewish National Fund and the Jewish Agency, seized their property and declared it state land, which was then leased or in some cases sold to incoming European Jews.

These Israeli Palestinians, much like the African migrants, were left to fend for themselves. Shanty towns arose with these internal refugees, many of which to this day are not recognized as "official towns" by the Israeli government. Many receive little to no government services such as water, electricity, paved roads, etc.

Many indigenous peoples had been displaced and uprooted from their lands. Some of them faded away into the sunset, some didn't. Life ain't fair.

Palestinian refugees are legally entitled to a just and lasting solution to their plight. That plight is: they were expelled and denationalized by Israel because they are not Jews. Yah well, I want a billion dollars. You don't always get what you want.

Why is Israel offering to pay these illegals? Just deport them and be done with it.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
