Does NVC send letter after complete the case?

From my experience.

I got an email from NVC after emailing NVCinquiry@state.gov

Weirdly, I got 2 emails that day back, one is stating the case is completed, the 2nd was the interview date in malaysia.

If you inquire about the Status of your case, NVC will respond back with the Status.

I would say your situation is Coincident than weird because you got 1st email on the respond of your inqury and 2nd is Standard Procedure to notify about Interview appointment....
