Does NVC send letter after complete the case?

I am not sure, we never waited for anything from NVC, we were proactive and called - like twice a day for updates

you should receive an e-mail...saying something like this:

"The NVC completed its processing of XXXX XXXXvisa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in GUATEMALA CITY, GUATEMALA. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

you should send an email to: NVCInquiry@state.gov (they did replied to my e-mail, that is why I knew it)

or call them ...

if you send an e-mail send case # on the subject line

and on the body of your e-mail

Petitioner's name and date of birth

beneficiary's name and date of birth

But my case has complete many months ago. I think 2 or 3 months ago. I have become so tensed now!

My case has completed at NVC but they don't send me any letter..

you will receive a letter for the appointment. you most likely will not receive any notification that the case intake is complete at NVC.

I mean live here in pakistan and my husband has applied for me. I know my case has completed at NVC when i email NVC they replied me that my case has completed now i have to wait for my pd to be current... But they dion't send me any letter to me here in pakistan.

Only those doing Electronic Processing (EP) get a case complete email. You are from Pakistan, a non-EP country, so you will NOT get a case complete email. The next piece of correspondence you will receive is the interview letter.

it took a few days for me to receive the email after our case was complete. It's the weekend and the NVC is closed now until Monday.

Please realise the OP is NOT from an EP country like you, they will NOT get a case complete email.

My case was completed on may 17, and i didnt get an email, saylin is right unless you are in elctronic processing you wont get an email. you need to be proactive and always call for updates, and ask if your interview has been scheduled... good luck

NVC does not inform petitioner and applicant( beneficary)about CASE complete at NVC for non-EP countries.General speaking, only way you know about the Case complete is CALL @ NVC but if you make a service request ( inquiry) about your CASE status, they will answer back within 7-10 days.

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: XXXXXXXXXXXXX filed by XYZ on behalf of ABC or filled by ABC.

The NVC completed its processing of ABC's visa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in City, Country......

Notifying about CASE completed at NVC is non- standard procedure on non-EP countries. So, when you get the response back from NVC about your inquiry, they just send the email back to you ie who inquiry the Case status not CC to your husband

When an interview appointment is scheduled, thats the only time NVC will notify the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) and I am guessing you are fully aware of F2A vs CR1/IR1....So, its a long WAITING game....

Usually NVC will send a email with the date and time of the interview

Go to the top right corner where your VJ username is located. Next to the username there is an arrow that points down. Click on it, scroll down and click on My timeline (add/edit). That should do it.

I did get an e-mail, and i am not in an electronic process... but as "A16!!24A" says, we need to be proactive... I got that e-mail in reply to my inquiry

and I think that's the reason we did not get a letter, because they already notified us.

NVC may and may not. Got email for my wife's case, not email for my son's.
