Biometrics complete + online status

Hi VJs,

ROC here. VSC.

I completed my biometrics (Early walk in). Upon checking my status online, it still doesn't reflect completed. Instead, it shows they received my package. Is it normal? I mean they are so behind that takes a while to update the website?

They do not update the website properly or in a "timely manor" it is NOT required of them to update it at all. It is a courtesy they provide.

The same as it has always been. The reliability of the online status checker does not change for the different processes. Its the same unreliable, inaccurate, status checking website for all processes.

Same for me, no update after biometrics. Seems that it's normal; don't worry too much about the website. They may not even link biometrics to specific petitions at this time; they may simply check that bio is complete during a background check or whatever else they do once they get around to adjudicating on our cases finally.
