They are just like any other government run business. They only have holidays for actual holidays. Such as Labor Day, Christmas, New Years and so on. Basically if its considered a national holiday they probably have off but never for months. The most time they will have off between Oct - Feb would be Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Besides that nothing. And you need to delete or block your fiance's ex-girlfriend she will only make you doubt yourself or possibly later on in the relationship doubt your relationship with your fiance.

No break, but a management priority may come up causing a slowing in other visa areas, very bad information.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

If you spent any amount of time on this site you would see she is blatantly lying. Don't be naive. Why would you or your fiance ever be friends with her on FB? Time to stop playing childish games with exes and delete her and cut her out of your life.

I was online when my fiance's ex girlfriend popped up and told me that uscis takes a long holiday break from October till after the new year around February. During this time, everything is sort of "frozen" and anything that has not been processed or approved before they go on break will just sit there till after the break. Is this true or is she just trying to be discouraging since she is constantly trying to break us up and get my fiance back? This was the first I had heard of this and I am really hoping she is wrong...

hhhmm your friend w/your ex's fiance gf???? i think your hanging around with the wrong person....you been seeing ALL the bad sign that she's up to no good. but seems that you ignoring it!!! maybe your been a good for her. but do you think she's the same w/u?? i bet she just trying to get some info about u and her ex's bf..to make it worst sooner later she might be a big issue in your relationship problem/s...my advice right now CUT all your contact w/her.goodluck

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!

Quick reply to this question without any additional flaming is..... NO! Uscis is still operating as normal much like any other government run agency not given additional days off however unlike private sector government agency employees tend to take days off around holiday to make them long weekend etc. And it's not as much frowned upon as in private sector! Purks of working in the public sector wooohoo! Just another hint most government agency have given goals and deadline to respond to inquiries and it's monitored closely.
