Hi Vj's members,

Do I need to notarize I-134, Affidavit of Support?

My finacee will be interviewed at New Delhi and it says that it need to be notarized, Delhi is a bit strict from other embassies.

Apart from i-134, what else documents needs to be notorized, anyone who recently submitted documents in new delhi embassy?

Can we notorized documents from Bank? will that work?

Thanks.

Consider reposting your initial inquiry at the India regional forum for a focused response.

Good luck on your visa journey.

A bank officer is typically a public notary. You will have to ask them iof they will do it for you. If you have account with them likely no problem, otherwise they may charge you fee. Or look for accountant or lawyer.

You should print out I134 here in US and notarized here. its clearly stated on website. Form should be absolutely notarized in USA. Then sign it and send to your fiance.

you can also notazed some other copies of other documents if you want .

This is directly from the instructions for the I-134:

"If you are sponsoring more than one alien, you must submit a separate Form I-134 for each alien. Form I-134 must be signed in your full name. (Note: Signing Form I-134 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. law). For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarized after you sign it."
