With cautious optimism, we are certainly looking forward to meeting up in Guangzhou on Monday. My fiancee and her son will have their medical exams on Monday. I will arrive late Monday night. Their visa interview is scheduled for Wednesday.

Buy new bed set, pillows/sheets and make the bed before you leave. Make sure refridge is full of food and only a 12 pack of beer.

Clean your computer of all your porn movies and photos. Wipe all evidence of past girlfriends from your home/appartment.

Greetings from Guangzhou,

I finally got here, after a three hour initial delay in Seattle, which resulted in a rescheduled connecting flight in Beijing to GZ. The weather is stifling !!! The temp is in the 90's with the humidity running at 90% +, with intermittent rain just to keep you feeling like you are a steamed dumpling. Yes, I am melting !!! Thankfully, our hotel room has good A/C.

We are staying in a hotel around the corner from the consulate. My fiancee and her son had their medical exams on Monday, all went well. Today is Wednesday, they just left for the consulate for document submission. Tomorrow, Thursday, will be their interview. I will be taking a book to read and wait for the (hopefully) great news. We feel confident that all will go well.

I was in Guilin in July a couple of years ago and I would always wonder why people would walk around with umbrella's when it wasn't raining. My wife and I had one at all times on that trip, it made a huge difference keeping the sun off of us.
