I posted previously regarding my husband was called for a second interview, and was given the denial form due to unlawful presence. I immediately emailed the embassy to inform them that this was not accurate, and my attorney and Senator's office emailed them documents that were missing from my husband's file. We were placed in AP again. After three weeks, my husband received a call to come for an appointment at 3:00PM next week. I pray that he will finally be able to give them his passport for his visa! Anyhow, has anyone had experience with having an interview after AP or submitting more documentation?

My husband was called back after 62 days on AP and was approved. Hen they called him for the second interview what time was he told to report? Did they request he bring his passport? The difference is they kept his passport and they just told him to come at 3:00 pm. He brought all our records. I am praying for you all..

God bless

He was told to come at 3:00PM next week and to bring his passport. When I called DOS they said he is scheduled for an interview.

Same happened to my Fiance. He went for first interview and they wanted documents for his previous Unlawful Presence. We provided all the documents from Immigration court and they told him to go to Embassy with his passport and nothing else, so I called DOS and was told he was schedule for an interview. When he went there he was advised that he was not eligible because he had a HIT from ICE for a 10 year ban. I then contacted local ICE office here in my state and found out that ICE made a mistake on his papers. So now iam waiting for ICE to correct the mistake so embassy can issue him visa. In the meantime iam getting help from my Congressman office. The staff will contact embassy and ask them to hold the case till ICE corrects the mistake and then review the record again so they can issue the visa. So I hope its not too complicated for u and he gets his visa. Keep me updated please since we both in similar situation. Good luck.
