Does the US Embassy in Manila allow the petioner to be with the fiance for the interview? I scheduled the interview so that I can be there for my mahal for the interview. But I have read some places that the embassy won't allow me in.

don't worry, you'll be allowed in. it's up to the CO if you'll be part of the interview.

I believe this to be untrue. Yes, up to the CO. Generally, I would only think after her/his personal interview. Only thinking what Members have recalled that been there done that. From what I have seen from Members (Philippines) they don't care. Your paperwork and the Beat Goes On. "NEXT"

However, If you have the means and resourses to be there. BE THERE. Not for the CO but for your Spouse/Finace' Fiancee...

Of course. I schedule the interview for a time I knew I would be there. Because she said it would greatly help her out emotionally wise for me to be there. So of course I will be.

Embassy in Manila will allow the USC (petitioner) to attend the interview, no problem.

They will more than likely ask you as many questions as they do you fiancee, they did when I was there.

I answered almost every question during the interview. On the questions she HAD to answer, I explained the question to her. The CO was speaking rather quickly and Jena was pretty nervous.

When was the last time you came to visit? What do you do for a living? What do you do for fun? What do you like best about the Philippines? Have you been to Cebu? How big is your motorcycle, and what kind is it? Oh ya, when did you arrive this time and when are you both flying back?

That last question had to be great to hear. Nice way to say you're being approved.

That last question had to be great to hear. Nice way to say you're being approved.

Ya it was his way of saying that as he never told my wife with those actual words - you're approved, just told us to wait to be called to window 72 for arranging delivery. :lol:
