I know I keep posting, but there are so many things which are so confusing. I am filling my I-485 for marriage based green card. Part 1 asks for current status and expiration date. I have been working under my OPT. But I just quitted my job in May. So I have not accured 90 days yet. I did some search and found out that I should put F-1/OPT for current USCIS status, right? But how about expiration date? It's highly unlikely I am going to get a job in less than two months, so do I use "90 days rule", which means you are out of OPT after 90 days unemployment, or should I use the expiration date on my EAD, which is the end of the year?

Another question is about Part 3 (B), it asks for my spouse's info. Then it asks whether my husband is applying with me. Should I go with "no", since my husband is the US citizen and the petitioner. I don't know whether this question is designed to ask whether he is trying to get a green card with me.

1. Expiration: on your EAD card.

2. No is clearly the answer.

Good luck.

Your OPT status expires when your EAD card expires, so put that. You are right that you would go out of status on the OPT because you quit your job, but that's not relevant here because you're filing I-485. In any case, don't try to guess about whether or not you will go out of status based on whether you might get a job or not.
