I'm still in the 'it bugs me' phase - not sure I ever won't be.

You'll realize that getting upset about it just wastes your time and doesn't achieve anything. Laughing about it is far more enjoyable! Whenever I see one of those "insightful" bumper stickers, I ignore what they say and instead use it as an indicator that their driving probably sucks.

Well you really can't take these people seriously so you might as well just laugh... I used to feel sorry for them but I then realized alot of the ignorance is self inflicted...

The other day I was stuck behind someone with a bumper sticker that said "A village in Kenya is missing its idiot" ... and right next to it, some anti-gay/anti-abortion sticker all rolled into one.

And the driver was on their cell phone.

I was silently raging.

I'm telling you, it's a great way to know when someone is going to suck at driving!

People have choose life tags here, I don't think there's a pro choice one though. ;) God bless America (but no where else). :P

A clear reference to George W. Bush... innocent.gif

I saw on the news yesterday that he is still the most hated living president.

People here tend to drive with no hands at all. Hamburger in one hand, phone in the other. That or they're texting. Not sure why this isn't a federal offense...

It would be interesting to learn if any similar measures were taken for previous First Ladies... in which case, they are all a bunch of discriminating racists, according to you...:rofl::rofl::rofl::o

You must have missed the bolded and underlined section when you perused through and just focused on the last sentence. And if I was on VJ when a previous First Lady was being a hypocrite, I would have posted similar content.

Well then, to deploy Democrat logic which states that requiring the presentation of photo is racist and discriminatory

Seems to me that the suggestion made here is that there is as much of a right to an autograph as there is a right to vote. I wasn't aware of that so I'd like to get some clarification on that matter. Always open to learn something new, you know?

Big Dog you have the wrong idea of my suggestion. My suggestion is that I find it very hypocritical that to require ID for someone to vote would be discriminatory and racist, but to buy a book and get an autograph it is not any of those things. I'm sorry you couldn't deduce that as well, without me having to re-clarify. So there's nothing new to learn here regarding the constitution or voting and autograph rights. Just exposing of liberal hypocrisy. And for the record, I am against a national ID or voter ID of any type, there are other arguments the libs could use against a voter ID bill without going straight to the its racist/discrimination argument. And the conservatives pushing for this type of thing are nothing more than big gov't idiots with a Republican label( The same types that gave us the Patriot Act).

The First Lady is putting a wrinkle into my Be a Reader Campaign? #######?

Oh well, Skippy Dippy, Wippy and Pippy.

You Go, Michelle, (no, I mean it - really.. go.. pack yer bags, move back to Chicago)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

So you are saying that getting a book signed by the first lady is part of the constitution? I had no idea that was part of the 15th amendment. :bonk:

Or brains at times, for that matter!

:rofl::thumbs:
