I feel so frustrated to be with my husband..So much :( expenses? What expenses? Like? Did u file also for Spouse visa?

Yes, I filed I-130 and I-129f for my wife. I opened a n acct for my wife when we got married and I sent her the Debit Card. Gas, groceries, etc. She paid with the card for everything she could. The bank

statements show she is using the card in her country and that i am putting money into the acct in the U.S. I dont know if the statements did it or my compelling letter describing how difficult it is to be without her. She will be here , God Willing, in less 4.5 months from the time i received NOA1.

I know someone filed August 2011 and got approved feb 2012. She's in the U.S now. Hang in there. You'll get yours soon ;)

For the mean time, have all your documents ready for your NVC journey ;)

We have all prepared all the papers, docs and money. It's all ready/ We're just waiting for our approval (NOA2)..My cousins took 8 months.. And we're hoping mine will be done in 6months.. Or me can leave before the end of the year

Wow! That's good news for you! My husband send me money though through Western Union.. We're just afraid that it might affect our processing of our petition if we do that and lack of evidence though I have the receipts :(

You need to look at the timelines for the Philippines for IR1/CR1 visa in Visa Journey

Other people seeking other type of visas does not mean anything to you. You need to focus on visas for IR1/CR1 only from the Philippines only.

It took 10 months for my wifes visa to get approved. 5 months with the USCIS and almost 5 months at the NVC and manila embassy and everyting went smootly.

No delays because of medical. Many are delayed because of TB test.

We were very prepared at each stage and had no RFI's during the process. I think they lost the paperwork at the NVC that I sent them and I had to send a second packet with original documents so it is good to have multiple originals.

Don't pay too much attention to some that are getting them approved quickly. Often they don't tell you that the spouse is military and they are able to get there visa process expedited.

Plan on the timeline in VJ for the Philipines being pretty close. I also had help from my Senator in getting the process expeditied because of the screw up at the NVC. (losing my paper work)

It is an incredible stressful period waiting on each stage of the Visa process.

Waiting on NOA2

Waiting on NVC to process everything

Waiting on interview at Embassy

Waiting on Visa to be delievered to her home.

My wife traveling to Cebu to get her departure classes and passport stamped that she attended classes. (Forget what the procees is called.)

Her flying to the USA and going through POE interview caused her to miss connecting flight and she did not have any means to tell me. I went to the airport to pick her up but she was not on that plane. Returned home not knowing what to do.

Eventually she called and left a message on my cell phone after asking a guy at the airport if she could call me on his cell phone.

Most airports don't have pay phones anymore.

Believe me, it was stressful for me but in the end it was all worth it.

Good luck
