Hi there! I just want to gather infos about NOA 2 which is the Notice about approval.. Is there any case here (SPOUSE VISA) that have/had there petition's approved in 4months or less? And filed it also in California.. Or it only took them 6months to process them everything.. Most especially those from the Philippines.. My husband is living in US, he is a USC. And I am a Pinay living here in PI. Thank you so much for the help!

When did u file it? Are u done with the processing now?

my noa2 took 3 months...but i have was stuck at the NVC for longer than the 3 months it took for the i 130 to be approved

Aww! Why taking so long to have ur NVC?

Processing times fluctuate. From my own observation, those who filed April-June 2011 have had their approvals within 3-4 months. Unfortunately, for July-December 2011, it has been in the 5-6 months range. Who knows, a couple of months from now, they will go back to 3-4 months.

But it's best for you not to count on it. It will save you from a lot of frustration.

USCIS

10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

05/14/12 - Daughter's IV fee invoiced, paid both IV fees - "IN PROCESS"

05/15/12 - Both IV fees show as "PAID"

05/16/12 - Sent both AOS and both IV packages to NVC via USPS (expected delivery: 05/19/12)

05/21/12 - All 4 packages delivered

05/30/12 - Received checklist for daughter's AOS

05/31/12 - Sent response to checklist via USPS (expected delivery: 06/01/12); Spouse's case completed

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated

We all are, of course. It's hard not being with your spouse. And believe me, it's more difficult with a growing child, because your husband isn't there to witness her reach her milestones. But it's a process we have to go through, and it's the end result we have to focus on - being together as a family.

When did your husband filed your case?

He filed it last week of May, USCIS received it May 29, 2012.. We got NOA June 5, 2012.. Now, the next step is NOA2. That's why I am gathering infos ow long it usually takes. Hehehehe.. All our papers, docs, money is all ready na.. Were just waiting for approval..

I know how you feel. Many of us feel that way. It is not easy to be away from your loved one. I had to ask them to expedite the case , my wife being away was causing me lots of distress both financially and emotionally. I sent in a letter explaining this as well as bank statements showing her expenses overseas (luckily she used her debit card for most expenses) my petition got appoved in 3 months and she has an interview next week. You might want to try that. I have read that it doesnt work for everyone but it is worth the shot. It worked for me.

I feel so frustrated to be with my husband..So much :( expenses? What expenses? Like? Did u file also for Spouse visa?

I know someone filed August 2011 and got approved feb 2012. She's in the U.S now. Hang in there. You'll get yours soon ;)
