On Part 8 - G of N-400 form, what family name should I use for his ex, is it her maiden name or my husbands name basing on the divorce decree.

Hmmm, my ex insisted on using my married name and that was the name on our divorce.

Suppose if she went back to her maiden name would type in Maiden Name/Married Name. That way the name would appear as it is on the divorce and they would know her maiden name if they wanted to contact her for any reason.

But if his divorce paper shows she went back to her maiden name, would just use her married name.

Didn't we go through all this stuff during the AOS? Why do we have to go through all that again? Can skip all that with the five year, can skip a whole bunch of stuff with the five year.

Whatever last name your husband's ex currently goes by. In my case, my husband's ex still has the same last name (as him) because they have kids together who also have that last name.

Unfortunately we have to do it again for naturalization.
