Okay, this may be the silliest post I've ever placed on VJ, but for my husband it is an absoute part of the planning process of his arrival! Is there a place that sells white yam in Alabama? Yep that's the quesiton! :rofl:

depending on where u live in Alabama if you do not have an African grocery story i would also look at international stores some of them carry yams.....I loves yams especially with fried egg it is a plus to live by African grocery stores....

IN VIRGINIA WE ACTUALLY HAVE A GHANAIAN MARKET THAT SELLS FUFU BANKU FRESH WHITE YAMS ALL OF THE SEASONING FROM NIGERIA SIERRA LEON AND OF COURSE MOST OF THEIR PRODUCTS ARE FROM GHANA SHE ACTUALLY COOKS TILIPIA AND BANKU TASTE BETTER THEN HOME ACTUALLY ALSO JOLLOF RICE WITH SMOKED CHICKEN THEY ALSO SELL THE DRY FISH SO IF PASSING THRU VA LOOK UP 2 FISH AND 5 LOAVES GHANAIAN MARKET......

I dont know, but I hope its in Missouri, that was my favorite food there lol!
